I'm planning to bag the 140 and crackpipe 150 at VFW! Be there or be square!

Sounds like you got some toxic crack over in your island, whats your current 1RM?

Things are looking more positive, now that I have the shoes.

Did an easy* 120kg double today, so I can see 140kg happening soon. Euphoric you still in the game or is it just down to my antipodean buddy talyn?

I typed in some numbers to my baldy 1rm calculator. It says I need to double 130kg to be in with a shot of 140kg single.

* easy be relative.

At VFW 135kg will fall. Not willing to consider 140kg yet.

Although I noticed you just changed the goalposts.

Horrible! I could hardly DL 135, and squatting 5x100 left me breathless :(

No strength in my legs left!

Looks like you will not be a threat to me then, I did 5x5 at 100kg the other week.
I suggest you put 100kg on the bar and just rep as many as you can until you get stronger :P

I am squatting tonight, spending the day at working visualizing my squat and trying to bring in my deadlift strength to the lift.

HEAVY singles tonight.

nice to step up to the plate, you look like the favorite with only 4kg to get the sweet 308.64716 lbs

It was from a box too, so he's probably already got 140 within him! Get it done!

Count me in! New best at 122.5kg today (2 reps, failed 3rd). Though not sure how much I'll be "racing" as I'm sticking strictly to my 5/3/1.

Good stuff. You're making decent progress, I could see you beating Baldy to the 140kg.

(but I say that to everyone who joins the race)

127.5kg now. Couldn't get it up  the first time, an ugly squat, and finally an unmanly "yeah!".

12.5kg to go!
